The Moray Council operates five swimming pools at: Buckie, Forres, Keith, Lossiemouth and Aberlour. The pools are all on school sites and the programmes consist of a mix of school use, public swimming, club bookings Each pool has an extensive swimming lesson programme catering for a wide variety of abilities from junior through to adults. The programme also includes disabled swim sessions, family fun sessions, speedo exercise classes and birthday parties.

Lunchtime and early afternoon swimming is available at each facility although the main public sessions operate in the evenings and at weekends.

There are fitness facilities available at Buckie and Forres consisting of a range of cardiovascular and resistance machines. User inductions are available and there is an extensive programme of fitness testing, advice etc. on offer.

Elgin also has a swimming pool at the Leisure Centre
