The Moray Council’s Revenues Section is responsible for the administration of Housing Benefit, which is a government-determined benefit to help those on low income and in receipt of benefits to pay their rent, in Moray. The section provides advice about entitlement to Housing Benefit, and assesses Housing Benefit claims. It also provides assistance to those having difficulty completing their applications for Housing Benefit. The section also reclaims Housing Benefit Overpayments, which may be caused if it is not promptly informed of a change to the circumstances of person in receipt of Housing Benefit.
