Our aim is to improve human health and the quality of life of all residents and visitors to Moray.
This is through our involvement in areas of Food Safety, Health & Safety at Work, Public Health and Animal Welfare.
We are a multi-function profession concerned with inspection, education and regulations, that provides advice and guidance to businesses and consumers and enforces minimum standards and requirements through legislation as necessary. This council is committed to open government and the relevant enforcement policies are available by following the links opposite.
We do not operate in isolation but work with many other agencies for the protection of public health.
