Moray Carers Project is an independent voluntary organisation set up for carers and those working with carers.

What happens when you contact us?

We will ask you for details such as your name, address etc, to put on the Moray Carers Register allowing us to send out an information pack.  As well as keeping you informed of any training/social/therapeutic activities organised by the Moray Carers Project.

What is a Carer?

If you care for an adult or a child who is ill, frail or has a disability then you are a Carer

Some carers....

  • Will live with the person they care
  • Will be a relation, a friend or neighbour
  • Will spend many hours of their day and night caring
  • Will drop in to make sure everything is okay

Home Visits

A Carers Support Worker is available to visit you in your own home if you want to talk to someone about your situation.  The Support Worker can also give information and advice on available services, such as housing, respite care, benefits, council tax, and much more.
