To provide business information and advice to the Council in the interests of the local economy. Implement the Joint TMC/MBSE Economic Strategy and Action Plan, and contribute to the work of the Economic Forum, and promote Moray as a location for business investment and Tourism. To develop and implement economic development initiatives and projects, particularly on priority sectors of the local economy. To establish mechanisms to involve local businesses and communities in the development of Moray's economy, especially Tourism, Agriculture, Fishing, Forestry and the Food and Drink sectors.
