Land Use Reports

The Moray Council can, on request, provide a Land Use Report for any site within Moray. There is no restriction on the size of site, however the larger it is, the less representative the Land Use Report will be.

Two levels of report are available, which include all information held by the Environmental Health Section as detailed below. Level 1 Reports are suitable where you are happy to carry out your own research on current potentially contaminative uses, whereas Level 2 Reports include this information also.

Level 1 (£69 + vat)

 Historic industrial uses within 50 metres of the site.
 Historic waste disposal activities within 250 metres of the site.
 Private water supplies within 250 metres of the site.
 Non-confidential information relating to complaints, spills and incidents on the site or adjacent land.
 Non-confidential information relating to historic licences on the site or adjacent land.
 Non-confidential information relating to outstanding notices or orders on the site.

Level 2 (£163 + vat)

 Historic and current industrial uses within 250 metres of the site.
 Historic and current waste disposal activities within 1 kilometre of the site.
 Private water supplies within 1 kilometre of the site.
 Surface water receptors within 1 kilometre of the site.
 Ecological receptors within 1 kilometre of the site.
 Non-confidential information relating to complaints, spills and incidents on the site or adjacent land.
 Non-confidential information relating to historic licences on the site or adjacent land.
 Non-confidential information relating to outstanding notices or orders on the site.

The information provided in these reports is correct at the date of the report only. In addition, the information is provided to the best of the Council’s knowledge in accordance with information held by the Council at the date of the report.

Land Use Reports - Map Package (£69 + vat)

Includes A3 copies of relevant historical and present day Ordnance Survey maps held by the Council (provided in two different scales)  Please note, the map package is included free of charge within a Level 2 Land Use Report.
