Waste Management is one of the most important front line services provided by the Council. The Refuse Collection service, collecting from households once a week and twice weekly from commercial properties. Approximately 48,000 tonnes of waste is collected for disposal every year - imagine the mess we would all be in if the Refuse Collection service was not available!
Domestic Refuse Collection is carried out on a weekly and a fortnightly basis to a specific route plan and one 240 litre wheeled bin is supplied to each property. Please note there will be a charge of £33.42 for new build properties. Request form available for download.

We also offers a Bulky Waste Collection Service - This service will be provided at a cost of £16.00 per uplift of items which are in excess or too large for your Wheeled
Bin.
