The Moray Council is embarking on a programme of transformational change from being a traditional Council to becoming a modern and accessible organisation which plays a role in Scottish Local Government affairs while remaining in touch with the needs of the community. The 2004-2007 Corporate Development Plan announces the commencement of this programme.
The plan, which has been approved by Members, was also issued for consultation to our Community Planning partners. It sets the Council’s programme for the next three years and is supported by a number of ambitious action plans. This programme responds to the Scottish Executive’s Best Value initiative which effectively requires all Councils to review the way they work and how they will represent their communities.
