Training Grants
Grants may be made to Registered Teachers to enable them to attend courses at home or abroad, or generally pursue any activity likely to increase their efficiency
and effectiveness as teachers. In previous years, teachers have been awarded grants for a variety of educational purposes
including attendance on Vocational Courses and participation in Private Study and Correspondence Courses. Grants were not awarded for projects that appeared to be substantially of a holiday nature.
Equipment Grants
Schools in The Moray Council area and schools "in the area comprising the former county of Moray and the former parishes of
Abernethy and Duthill all lying within the Badenoch and Strathspey District of Highland" are eligible to apply for Equipment
Grants under Section 24 of the Dick Bequest Trust Scheme.
