The Scottish Executive has introduced a new Scotland-wide free bus travel scheme for older and disabled people.  The scheme started on 1 April 2006 and entitles the cardholder to free bus travel throughout Scotland at any time of the day.

The revised scheme replaces the existing local concessionary travel scheme.
