Emergency Callout

Emergency Calls

Don't break the bank
Did you know callout charges start at £83.41!

Broken windows, lost keys, blocked toilets and waste pipes.  If you make an emergency call for these works it can result in a fixed charge to the tenant, which can be as much as £96.46 for an out of hours callout, no matter how long the workman spends at your home.

For windows the cost will not end here, as the emergency callout charge only covers the cost of the workman boarding up the broken window and a FURTHER charge will then be made for the replacement of the glass.  All reasonable precautions should be taken for doors, which have glass inserts such as not leaving back and front doors open at the same time in windy weather.

Vandalism

This does not include vandalism cases which must be reported to the Police and a crime reference number obtained.

For toilets, avoid hanging easily detached toilet fresheners from the rim (the most common cause of blockages!) and keep the cistern area free of clutter, which could fall in.

For kitchen sinks, baths and wash hand basins, do not attempt to dispose of solid food waste or other unsuitable matter down the plughole.
