If you are dissatisfied with the result of your request for information and this cannot be resolved informally with the Council’s Corporate Policy Unit then you can follow the Council’s  Complaints Procedure.

If we are unable to resolve any complaint, you can complain to the Scottish Information Commissioner who oversees the Act and whose contact details are below. From 1 January 2005 there is a formal appeal mechanism when information is withheld, further details of which are available on the  Commissioner’s website.
