Project Description

The project consists of incorporating the public library as part of a learning facility within the High School, the provision of a health suite and pupil social area.

Milne's Development Group -in partnership with the Council- originally brought this initiative forward.

Present Status

In light of the location if this facility at Milne's HS and the signinficant input of the Council, the proposal has now been incorporated as a prioirty project of the School Estate Capital Programme. 

Architectural sketches have been prepared for this project and a costing is presently being estimated.

Next Steps

It is envisaged that this project will continue to be developed by Milne's Development Group in conjunction with the Council.

Community involvement is likely to be a pre-requisite for securing external funding.

The next steps are:-

•  identify an accurate estimated cost for this project.
•  sourcing external funding.
