How to Become an Adult Learning Tutor

How to become an Adult Learning tutor:

  • Contact us by either telephone: 01343 555166 or email: adult.learning@moray.gov.uk
  • Let us know what skill you can teach, whether it may be Yoga, Aerobics, Spanish, Pilate's, Salsa, etc.
    (You must be suitably qualified/experienced in this subject and be able to provide certificates/qualifications).
  • Let us know which area(s) within Moray you can offer the class.
  • On what evening’s you can teach the class.
  • How long the class will run each week, e.g. 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.
  • How many classes you would like to provide each week.

What happens next?

  • Your class will be advertised via local press (at least twice a year) and on posters/leaflets, etc around the community.
  • We MUST receive a minimum of 9 people interested before we can set the class up.

Once we have received the required interest:

  • You will receive a phone call to advise that your class has been successful.
  • A start date and venue will be arranged in your chosen area(s).
  • Students will receive a call providing them with all the information required for the class.

(Please remember: Classes are self-financing and any materials required to teach your class will be at yours and the students own expense).

All you have to do is turn up and teach!
