The Leisure & Healthy Living Programme represents an ambitious strategy for the development of 18 recreational facilities throughout Moray. The programme is extensive and includes the development of turf pitches, skateboard parks, sports facilities and a learning centre.
Although capital funding of £4.3m has already been committed by The Moray Council, it is clear that to turn this vision into a reality will require strong partnership working with local communities, The Big Lottery, The Sports Lottery, HIE Moray, PPP projects and a broad range of other external agencies.
The purpose of these web pages is to inform elected members and community partners of the progress that has been made to date with these projects. It is the intention that these pages will be up-dated every month.
This table (this link opens in a new window) provides an overview of the current status of each of the 18 projects.
Specific information on each of the individual projects that make up the Liesure and Healthy Living Project is outlined in greater detail in this section.

If you have an interest in either football, hockey or for that matter any other ball sport, we would like your views on which synthetic material you would prefer. Use our online questionnaire.
