If so, you could be just the person we are looking for. Supported Lodging Providers can be married, single, working, not working etc. – there is no set formula, each applicant would be assessed on an individual basis.

If so, we have staff who can visit you to discuss this further. You will receive an awareness of what is involved in becoming a Supported Lodging Provider, and this may help you determine whether this scheme is for you.

You will Receive

On your way to becoming a Supported Lodgings Provider you will receive:

• information visits from the Supported Lodging Link Worker (and where possible from other Supported Lodgings Providers and young people) to enable you to make a decision whether to proceed
• support from a Supported Lodgings Link Worker to enable you to determine whether you and this scheme are suited
• Following your approval as a Supporting Lodgings Provider you will receive

• ongoing training opportunities
• ongoing and regular support
• a placement allowance

The opportunity to move into semi-independent accommodation can be vital to the success of a young person managing their future accommodation.
